Book Description:

Black dragon Holden Antaeus isn't looking for a mate. His life is filled with family, work, and dating. Women adore him and he's never short of offers for sex, but a relationship isn't something he's interested in. When Holden's brother Sean hires a new executive for Antaeus International, Holden's whole world, and everything he's ever believed about himself, is blown to bits.

Garret Renquist is a green dragon, intelligent, witty, bi-sexual, and hot for Holden. Despite the fact that Holden is positive he's heterosexual, the moment he meets Garret, something happens inside him. What follows is a journey through stereotypes and ingrained beliefs as Holden struggles with the fact that his destined mate is a man.

Book Review:

This is Holden. A sexy man who has yet to find a woman that can say no to him. He has yet to meet the woman that would want to mate with. Is world is turn on its axis when he meets his family’s newest employee, Garret Renquist. With just one look at Garrett, Holden is unnerved because he always thought his mate would be female.

Garrett Renquist is the newest member to team Antaeus. He had no idea that at the first meet with his employers, Garrett would meet his mate. Garrett is instantly head over heels in love with reluctant mate. He knows that it will take time to get Holden to realize they are met to be.

Fire Season is off to well round erotic romance with slowly built up sexual tension that only Lex Valentine can bring to readers. Love knows no boundaries as Ms. Valentine characters Holden and Garrett discover.

With the turn of each page Garrett reluctantly goes slowly to open Holden’s heart to a new height of passion.

But will Holden face the truth and realize that Garrett is the one he’s waited so long for? Or will Holden lose out on the best thing that ever happened to him?

There is so much love and angst between these two men.
I couldn’t help but fall under their spell. Lex Valentine is created a fan for life in me.

Holden is no nonsense man. Garrett is a man who wears his heart on his sleeve. Yet together they surrender to a love worth fighting for. Just as they finally come to realize this it, they are put to the test when they have to separate. Oh how heartbreaking these scenes were for me. *sniff*

These characters are in the ride of a lifetime. I can only imagine what will happen once their story continues. A much deserved kudos and praise to Lex Valentine on this addition to The Darkworld Series.

I give Fire Season a rating of 5 Stars.
