Book Description:

Her deadly dreams leave her in grave danger . . .

Since half-vampire Cat Crawfield and her undead lover Bones met six years ago, they've fought against the rogue undead, battled a vengeful Master vampire, and pledged their devotion with a blood bond.

Now it's time for a vacation. But their hopes for a perfect Paris holiday are dashed when Cat awakes one night in terror. She's having visions of a vampire named Gregor who's more powerful than Bones and has ties to her past that even Cat herself didn't know about.

Gregor believes Cat is his and he won't stop until he has her. As the battle begins between the vamp who haunts her nightmares and the one who holds her heart, only Cat can break Gregor's hold over her. She'll need all the power she can summon in order to bring down the baddest bloodsucker she's ever faced . . . even if getting that power will result in an early grave.

Book Review:

Cat Crawfield is one vacation with her undead husband, Bones. They’re currently trying to relax in one of the most romantic cities in the world, Paris. Just when things have finally gotten back to normal for Bones and Cat, trouble arrives.

Looks like Bones has finally met his undead match for competition for his ‘wife’ Cat. A master vampire from Cat’s past has resurfaced with a claim on her. A claim that Cat is not claimed and married to Bones.

Bones isn’t going to let someone just come between him and Cat. What he doesn’t count that Cat can’t stop herself from trying to do that right thing--even if it might destroy her and the only man she’s ever loved.

Cat and Bones are back--back with a vengeance. Readers will fall in love with all over again with these characters. Ms. Frost will remind fans again why we love the Night Huntress series.

Cat and Bones marriage is put the test; Their mistrust of each other soon puts more than one life at stake. They are in the fight for the lives; if they don’t kill each other first.

Jeaniene Frost has many readers craving more on her Night Huntress series. Destined for an Early Grave will have more than one reader will be reminded of just how fantastic this series is. Plenty of readers will remember just why they first fell in love with Cat and Bones in Halfway to the Grave.

Jeaniene brings back the action, suspense, drama and love that make the Destined for an Early Grave an upcoming bestselling sensation.

The main characters are put through hell and back. I just love that. It might turn some off, but I found Ms. Frost's book an absolute treasure.

Many of the supporting cast returns to help Cat and Bones escape the hell Gregor is putting them through. Not everyone will make it and many lives will never be the same again.

I definitely had many nail biting and hair pulling moments while reading the newest addition to the Night Huntress series. Cat and Bones are two of the most stubborn characters I’ve read. They not only put themselves, the people around and me through hell. It sure made me want to scream at them more than once. After I finished reading Destined for an Early grave, I come to realize that it was worth it to lose some hair and nails. The pain Bones and Cat go through was just to fascinating that I could not take my eyes of this book until the very end. I loved reading every minute of it!

I give Destined for an Early Grave a rating of 5 Stars.
