BOOK REVIEW:

Brynn Harlow left town after her life was destroyed by secrets. She left town hoping to ease the pain of the man she loved. She left town thinking that her so called betrayal would help Adam get on with his life and become what he’s always wanted to be. But life was never the same for either of them.

Adam thought once Brynn left him, things would be better. But no matter how much time has passed, the townsfolk would never let him forget the destruction and pain, Brynn caused him.

But some secrets can’t be kept quiet forever. Brynn is requested to help discover an arsonist’s identity and what’s the connection between the fires burning around the town and the murder of Adam’s brother, Zeke.

Brynn soon realizes that the truth must come out no matter how much pain it will cause her. After a rough start to working together, Adam and Brynn race against time to discover that there’s more than meets the eye regarding Zeke’s murder. Just as things are heating up between them, they find out that more than one person wants the investigation shut down. Especially enough to murder anyone who stands in their way.

Crystal-Rain Love has done again. THE FIRE STILL BURNS is her latest book and will win over more readers. The author brings to life Adam Good and Brynn Harlow. In the small town of Black Bear Gorge, there’s more secrets and mysteries that are slowly being brought out to light. More than one wants to keeps those secrets buried… But the arsonist will bring down the town if they don’t get what they want.

Adam and Brynn have more than fire burning between them. But will it be enough to save the town from the arsonist and murderer?

Brynn is a strong character even despite the pain caused by certain townsfolk. She thought it better to sacrifice herself to help Adam get over her and have a new and better life without her. What she didn’t know was her strength came from being with the man she loved. But will it give courage to finally let Adam in all the secrets Brynn has kept from him. Will it be enough to save her from the wraith of the arsonist?

Adam Good always looked up to his older brother, Zeke. With the arrival of Brynn Harlow back to town, he’s learning that there was a whole other life his brother kept secret. As more and more evidence comes to life, Adam learns just how wrong he was about Zeke. With more secrets uncovered he come to realize that its up to him to put things right with Brynn. And finally put his overbearing mother in her place and defend the woman he loves.

I can go on and on about what an amazing book that THE FIRE STILL BURNS is but I much rather let you to readers discover that yourselves.

Crystal-Rain Love has a number one winner on her hands. It has little bit of everything to keep reader thoroughly entertained and hooked. As much as I love reading heated love scenes, the drama and suspense seriously addicted.

I enjoyed the spark that still burned between Adam and Brynn. With each new page I learned more about what each of these characters were going through--through the years that they were apart. Who would have thought that a murder would be the reason that would finally bring Brynn and Adam back together after all the years that past by.

As much as I loved the heroine and hero, the other characters were just as exciting. But the storyline takes the cake. It will have many a reader entertained just like I was. It sure kept me out of trouble for the time I spent reading it. As soon I started reading it, I just couldn’t stop to the very end.

For someone who wanted to readers to discover for themselves just how amazing THE FIRE STILL BURNS is, I sure had a lot of wonderful things to say about it.

This review sure gave me trouble because I had to stop from repeating just how much I loved THE FIRE STILL BURNS. And it didn't help that no matter how many times I wrote this review, none of them seem good enough. Even though I am not satisfied, I have to admit defeat and post it. So hopefully this will be a good review for you all to read.

I give THE FIRE STILL BURNS a rating of 5 stars.
