Book Description:
Heiress Loretta Shaw is notorious for her loose morals and sexual needs. Trouble is, it’s taken her one too many one-night stands to realize that no man can extinguish the sexual fire she feels toward her guardian, Cray Diamond.
A long-ago curse made Cray immortal—a gargoyle, a guardian, who is impelled to protect a human chosen by the curse. He is imprisoned in stone during daylight hours but dusk returns him to flesh and bone to carry out his immortal duty.
That Cray can shift between human and living gargoyle at night bothers Loretta not one bit. She’s seen him naked many times and her desire for him—in any shape or form—knows no bounds. She’s tired of his resistance. He’s her gargoyle…and she wants him in her bed.

About the author:

HUSH, HUSH by Becca Fitzpatrick

October 13, 2009

Falling in love was never so easy . . .

or so deadly.

For Nora Grey, romance was not part of the plan. She's never been particularly attracted to the boys at her school, no matter how much her best friend, Vee, pushes them at her. Not until Patch came along. With his easy smile and eyes that seem to see inside her, Nora is drawn to him against her better judgment.

But after a series of terrifying encounters, Nora's not sure who to trust. Patch seems to be everywhere she is, and to know more about her than her closest friends. She can't decide whether she should fall into his arms or run and hide. And when she tries to seek some answers, she finds herself near a truth that is way more unsettling than anything Patch makes her feel.
For Nora is right in the middle of an ancient battle between the immortal and those that have fallen - and, when it comes to choosing sides, the wrong choice will cost her life.

The next big paranormal romance is here... Fall for the fallen in Becca Fitzpatricks stunning debut novel. Hush, Hush Becca Fitzpatrick Book Trailer Find out more about this author here:

Book Description:

Karen learns quickly that being both a mother and a vampire is no easy task, especially since her children, fraternal twins Anna and Andy, are not typical kids. Anna, although seemingly human, has the unique ability to not only travel the Astral, but also manipulate objects and people between planes.
Andy also appears to be a normal human boy, but appearances prove disastrously deceiving. With the help of her blood donor and lover, Jason, Karen does her best to offer the twins a "normal" suburban life.
Despite them, Anna and Andy come into their own, exploring their family's past . . . and the very different beings they are both slowly becoming. In the process, the author takes us on a wild ride that breaks beyond the boundaries of time and reality, sexual exploration, love and sacrifice . . . and back to the vampire commune.

Book Review:

Karen has long hoped for her kids to have a “normal” life. However, fate is a fickle bitch and does not let that normal.
At first it looks like Andy is the only normal person in their family but looks can be deceiving. Anna on the other hand has powers beyond anyone has ever seen. Karen tries to instill the right from wrong in her twins but they are more than even she can handle.
Luckily, for Karen, she still has her husband Jason at her side. He continues to donate blood for Karen and be a good father for the twins. Unfortunately, Anna cannot help but feel that she needs more than Jason can provide. Therefore, she seeks out love, affection from places few people have rarely seen.
The years pass by and the twins grow into their powers. Anna continues to act out behind her parent’s back. Andy discovers a completely new side to himself.
Lisa Lane brings fans and new readers the latest addition to her trilogy of The Darkness and the Night- Twins of Darkness to life. In this book, the twins are front and center of the story. Ms. Lisa creates a hell of lot of action, drama, suspense and rule breaking adventure-seeking twins.
Anna does not feel like she belongs anywhere. She especially feels like an outsider in her own family. She is no longer close with her twin brother, Andy.
Andy is the popular kid in school unlike his sister. Currently dating one the hottest girls in school, he feels like nothing could go wrong. Boy, is ever wrong about that. Andy discovers his ‘vampire’ side at the worst possible time.

Meanwhile Anna continues to seek out more ways to get energy from souls. On one particular visit, she meets the man that has made her mother’s life a living hell. Anna comes face to face with the man who murdered her father, Billy.
I can go on and on about how awesome this latest book is, but I do not want to ruin it for Ms. Lisa’s fans and readers.

With the shocking and climatic ending, the author left it will not disappoint any reader. I definitely chose this book as my top pick of the week!
I give The Darkness and the Night 3 - Twins of Darkness a rating of 4 Stars.

Night Time Romance Reviews

About The Author:
I am a writer. Writing is my passion, my release, and my escape. My day is not complete unless I write at least a few pages, and I craft sentences and redraft chapters as I drift off to sleep each night. It is quite safe to say that I obsess over the written word. I see words as broken shards of colored glass: alone they are worthless, but when placed together in just the right way they have the potential to form great masterpieces. I believe in taking chances with my work. I believe that sometimes great literature can come in the guise of a 300-page guilty pleasure, and that not much compares to good, literary science fiction.

I have been writing novels and screenplays for over twenty years, but my craft didn't take that necessary leap from good to polished until about five years ago. Whereas dialog and narration came rather naturally to me throughout the majority of my life, only my most recent works truly reflect a sense of depth, pacing, and suspense that comes only with experience and time. Of the works I feel are finished or in the process of redraft, I can claim seven novels: two literary, one narrative nonfiction, three erotic horrors, and one erotic romantic sci-fi. I have adapted three of my original novels into screenplays. I also have four original screenplays,as well as a collection of short stories and essays. My stories range from literary, science fiction, and horror to lighthearted comedy, romance/erotica, and heartfelt confession. I love to explore new genres, and then find new and exciting ways to make them my own. My work is eclectic and unique.

As the enforcer for the Italian vampiro cosca, Michael expects a certain amount of cooperation from his boss. That amount has been shrinking ever since their leader took a new sadist lover. Author Guest, Eric Jerome Dickey + Book Giveaway!

I want first give a shout of praise to Ms. Ava from Penguin Group for setting up this interview and giving a copy of Resurrecting Midnight to one lucky reader/fan!

Hello, Mr. Eric.

Let me start off with the good stuff.

What has been the best part of being an published author?

It's hard work, and it's being a business owner where you do all the heavy lifting on the front end, then team up with others in publicity and editing on the back end to complete the project. I work harder for myself than I ever worked for others, and I'm no slacker. No complaints and definitely no regrets. I'm getting to do something I enjoy doing.
After many years of successful books under your belt, does it still thrill you when you receive in your hands your latest novel?
The completion of a project still amazes me. It all starts with one idea... then one sentence...

Can you tell us what it took for you to complete your latest novel, Resurrecting Midnight?

I spent a lot of time in South America, in an area where there was, for the most part, no English. It took a lot of determination and discipline.

What was it like visiting Argentina?

It was great. Would love to go back for two months and immerse myself in the language and culture. And it was interesting looking at the U.S. through the eyes of another non-English speaking country.

In all your travels, where has been your favorite place to visit so far?

Hands down, London. Because of the theater and the transportation. And there was no language barrier, but I do want to learn other languages. Antigua is a close second. I love Antigua because it's 180 degrees from being London. Very peaceful. 360 beaches.

What’s like being best selling author Eric Jerome Dickey?

I'm just another Joe working to pay his bills.

Can you describe one day in the life of Eric Jerome Dickey?

Same as everyone else's. Nothing special. Writing, laundry, writing, car wash, writing, eating, writing, working out, writing, watching tv, writing... not too exciting. Just normal.

Watching a writer work is about as boring as boring can get.

After writing so many bestsellers, what inspires you to keep on writing these amazing Gideon novels?

I have bills.

Can you tell us a bit about Resurrecting Midnight? Can you give us a little teaser about Gideon’s newest adventure?

Go to for information.

What is the one thing that can surprise your fans and readers about you.

Honestly, I have no idea. Hopefully the writing is a surprise to them, in a good way. I have a long way to go, and I hope I'm getting a little better as the years go by.

Do you have a special ritual when creating new novels?

Nope. Just work work work. It's a job. Some people only see the end result, and they think it's not work, but it's job. A hard job at that.

Are you working on anything new right now that you might tease us about?

(You sure like the word tease. What's up with that?)
All info will be posted at

Where can fans/readers go to find more about you and your novels online?

It leads them to the Facebook, Twitter, MySpace and places they can donate money to my college fund. LOL
What social networks do you belong to?
They are all listed at There are so many I just list them on the site.

What has been the craziest/wildest thing a fan or reader has ever told you?

That list is endless. There are a lot of unstable people out there. The movie Misery was fiction for some, a documentary for others.

What do you do in your spare time? Do you have a spare time?

No spare time.

It’s been a absolute joy having this chance to interview you, Mr. Eric.

El gusto es mio! Igualmente, Senorita. Que hora es? Soy tengo hambre y quiero almuerzo.
I really look forward to your visit in Houston this week. I love Houston! Might move there... joking about the moving. LOL Ciao, adios, mi amiga! Hasta lluego! No, hasta pronto! Soy esta en Houston para Jueves!

Yeah, my Spanish sucks.

Now that we know that Mr. Eric isn't just another pretty face but has a great since humor as well, its now time to begin our giveaway.

For the residents of United States only and the contest ends August 31st, 2009.

Just post a comment below telling us what upcoming book you are looking forward to reading for your chance to win a copy of Resurrecting Midnight.

ISBN #978-0-525-95057-8
Hardcover Price $26.95

Book Description:

International assassin Gideon spilled blood for the first time when he was seven years old, with a single shot to the head of a man who was attempting to kill the woman Gideon had known as his mother. The victim was none other than his own father, a man of unspeakable evil. This pivotal event shaped Gideon throughout his life, made him who he is, one of the fiercest, most feared hired guns in the world. And one of the most hunted. After nearly losing his life in Antigua during a mission that went terribly wrong, Gideon trusts no one. But when a former lover and grifter, Arizona, resurfaces in need of his skills, she reminds him he was indebted to a man who had once saved his life: the son of the legendary con-man Scamz. Gideon is forced to take on an assignment which will lead him to Argentina in pursuit of a briefcase containing one part of a larger puzzle. The "package" contains material that another group of assassins – the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse – will kill to obtain and protect. One of the leaders of the Four Horsemen has a connection to Gideon that neither man is aware of -- a connection that will be exposed when they meet face-to-face and gun-to-gun. Each member of The Four Horsemen is a world-class killer, each with a dark and dangerous past, and nothing will stop that team of renegades from completing their mission. As Gideon struggles to keep promises and uncover information about his past, he finds himself at the center of the ultimate double-cross and he is forced to do what he must to protect himself and those closest to him. Set amidst the exotic and vibrant streets of Miami and Buenos Aires, Resurrecting Midnight is an action-filled, pulse- pounding thriller from bestselling author Eric Jerome Dickey.
Book Review:
Gideon is one of the best assassins in the world. Gideon knows that the only person he can really count on is himself. However, that does not stop from being human and making some mistakes.

Let us just hope this mistake does not cost him-his life.

When a former lover wants to meet with him, Gideon cannot help but feel excited. That is until he discovers just why Arizona wants to meet him. She makes him promise to this job for her.

Things get out of hand and Gideon knows the shit is about the hit the fan. He knows that someone is after him but no clue just yet that he/she, he, or she is. What do they want from him?

Is there someone from his past that is coming to bite in the ass? Whoever that person is, Gideon knows that it could very well be the last thing he does.

If you want to know what happens next, well the big tease that I am says:

--- Get off your lazy butt and get your own copy!

Mr. Eric has countless books that just prove to world that he is the best at what he does and is not stopping anytime soon. Mr. Eric more than proves with his latest novel involving Gideon’s adventures in Resurrecting Midnight.
I am newbie when comes to reading Mr. Eric’s novels. It sure made me feel like I was living under a rock to have just now discovered Gideon the assassin series.

From the very beginning, Mr. Eric captivated my attention with his character, Gideon that would not release me until I finished the whole book. It held my attention away from everything and everyone to the very end.

Mr. Eric Jerome Dickey’s Resurrecting Midnight can very well become plenty of reader’s new form of addiction. It could also be the cause of plenty of new readers to hunt out other books in this series.

For a newbie such as myself, I did not feel lost when I read Mr. Eric’s book. He kept me fully informed about what I missed in Gideon’s previous novels. Yet again, it has not stopped me from searching for all previous additions to Gideon’s adventures.

Fans and new readers will not be mad after reading Resurrecting Midnight. I do not have any clue about the previous Gideon’s novels, but if Mr. Eric is known to leave cliffhangers like that than I will not hold it against him. It definitely left me craving more and more Gideon’s novels.

By the way, have I mention I crave a hell of a lot more?

I can honestly say that Eric Jerome Dickey has made a new fan for life in me.

Thank you, Mr. Eric for your amazing writing talent! Resurrecting Midnight will be scorching hot success that will thrill many fans all over the world.

I give Resurrecting Midnight a rating of 5 Screams.
