His curse brings love and heartache. . .

The moment Shaye sees Moira, he is sure she will break his two hundred-year-old curse. It doesn't take long for Shaye to fall in love with this magnificent human woman, but proving his love is more difficult.

Moira is piecing her broken heart and broken life together when Shaye storms in and whisks her away on a fairytale adventure. Accepting his mythological nature--half human, half faerie--is disturbingly easy. Accepting his promise of forever seems ludicrous, as much as her heart beats to believe in him.

Daeanna is the daughter of Dagda, king of the Tuatha de Danann, and she is hell-bent on keeping what is rightfully hers: Shaye. Rejecting any possibility that Moira might be his true soul mate, Daeanna is determined to keep them apart...whatever the cost.

Love has never been so powerful, greed never so hideous. In worlds infused with beauty, magic and peace, can nightmares be banished and deceit be justified? Can love truly conquer all?

Moira is just an ordinary who is trying to get through her way in life. But life is currently kicking her when she is down by making Moira deal with an unfaithful ex. The joy in her life right now is her son, Chase. Currently she joins her best friend Rae at coffee when she most intriguing and mysterious man she ever laid eyes. Once she first meets Shaye, Moira can’t help but notice his … ears?
Shaye is in a living hell. He has spent the last two centuries being punished for a crime he now no longer sure is guilty of. Shaye now thinks he wished he was sentenced to death instead of the hell he’s been living as Daenna’s sex toy. Nothing and no one deserve this torture from an evil pureblood fae bitch. But just when Shaye can no longer take it, he finally meets his one true mate… Moira with Moira at his side, he might make it through it and finally get to feel peace.
Moira is first shocked and scared at meeting Shaye thinking he might someone her ex, Vick sent to keep tabs on her. She can’t help but feel that there something uniquely special about Shaye. Moira is soon drawn more and more to this mysterious stranger. With Shaye at her side, Moira feels a bond she has never felt before.

Shaye realizes that when he captures Moira in his arms, he feels that she is his saving grace. He will do whatever takes to keep Moira safe in his life.

Life can be sweet but like most love stories there’s always evil lurking behind the scenes. But this time there is one evil Fae pureblood bitch out to harm Moira for daring to trying to come between her and Shaye.

Daenna is one sick and twisted bitch. I for one enjoyed hating this character. This is the first time I hated a character. She is one character you can’t help but hate.
Ms. Kara Will introduces to a new series with the first title, Forbidden Heart that is going to have readers sigh with pleasure. The readers will no longer fall in love with the torture hero, Shaye but cheer on the heroine, Moira for her strength and faith her mate.
I couldn’t help but fall in love with the way Shaye slowly managed to get Moira to trust her heart to him. Along the way, Shaye also won over her son Chase who he also cherishes as much as he does for Moira.

Forbidden Hearts is remarkable romance novel and is off to a great start to an amazing series.
All characters are exciting that readers will cheer and won’t help but scream at certain scenes and characters for their behaviors.

Ms. Wills will keep readers hooked on Forbidden Hearts from the very first page till the very end. Ms. Wills wrote a fitting ending to all the main characters. You will definitely enjoy what happens to a particular character. Readers will remember that true love can conquer all.

I give Forbidden Hearts: Talenian Fae Book 1 a rating of 5 Stars!

Author C.H. Scarlett has created two remarkable characters, Daŕeus and Samanthŕa from an extraordinary world. This world that Ms. Scarlett has created in like nothing I have ever read before. It has some world class originality that will keep more than one reader to be ENCHANTED!
Welcome to a brand new series by this talented writer. Ms. Scarlett has created a thrilling and exciting new series that is going to wow many fans. It has that old fantasy romance that is rarely seen in today’s novels. There are many intriguing characters that help our hero and heroine along the way. Things are rarely what they seem which makes it ever harder for the heroine to keep on fighting. You will enjoy all the obstacles and challenges placed on these characters.
You better believe that Bound By Blood is a work of art that has the makings of being onscreen entertainment. You will not find anything remotely close to this novel.
Like most of my previous reviews, I recommend this to all readers who love fantasy and paranormal romance. You will not be disappointed.

There are plenty of review sites that will say a lot of good things about books and whether or not there any good-- well that is left up to reader; I pride myself in being objective when writing reviews. But alas, I couldn’t help with writing this review making a bit more personal. Bound By
Blood is definitely one of my top book choices of 2009. Readers such as me will definitely recommend this book.

Bound By Blood will not be forgotten by readers anytime soon.

Last but not least, I for one can’t wait for book 2 especially with the way the author, Ms. Scarlett cliffhanger ending.
Forgive me, my rambling.. plus any and all things that don’t make sense. I can only blame Ms. Scarlett for turning my world upside down with this beautiful world she created.
Kudos to Ms. Scarlett for a job very well done! We definitely want more!
I give Bound By Blood: The Awakening a rating of 5 Stars!

Book Description:

My name is Harriet Ruby, Tour Director Extraordinaire. At least I thought I was worthy of that title until one of my tourists, Archie Philpot, died in the middle of my first, solo European tour.
Teaming up with William Talbot, a seemingly kind stranger who turned out to be a spy in disguise, I tried to keep my tourists happy and unaware while smuggling poor old Archie's body out of Morocco. I never expected my newfound friend and helper to be the love of my life. It certainly didn’t hurt that he was such a hunk!

But before our romance even got properly started, we were chased by terrorists, smugglers and murderers. Since my role model had always been Tour Guide Barbie, I was out of my league and had to rely on Will to get us to safely.

Little did I know that getting out of Morocco was just the beginning...
Book Review:

Meet Harriet Ruby… Who’s going on her first solo directing tour? Harriet knows she has what it takes to be the best tour director there is. What she didn’t count on a member of her tour group dying right in front her. Luckily for Ms. Ruby she gets help from an unexpected stranger--William Talbot.

William Talbot is mysterious man who seems to come out of nowhere to help out Harriet. Along the way Harriet discovers more and more exactly who William really is. She can’t help but find herself fantasize about him.

Harriet never expected to go seriously wrong on her first solo gig. As soon as things get possibly bad to worse, Harriet meets William Talbot who comes up with a plan to rescue her from the jam she’s in. Now she’s an unwilling participant to help William.

William has been working undercover to discover the criminal underworld. He gets Harriet to help to continue working undercover. Along the way he banters with her… William likes his job yet there’s just something about Harriet that makes him wants kiss her. He gets keeping rain checks for those kisses from Ms. Ruby… He makes a promise to collect all kisses from her soon.
It doesn’t hurt either one of them--that Harriet teases William just as much as he does her.
While Harriet continues her tour, the dead Archie comes along as well. What is even funnier is that not one member of her tour group has noticed that Archie is 100 percent dead missing his leg.

R. Ann Siracusa managed to keep me smiling through out All For A Dead Man’s Leg.
Ms. Siracusa had me from the beginning with this line. “Mez Harriet Boobies.”

I just couldn’t love Harriet and Will more because no matter the danger they were in, both managed to do some major banter and flirting.

This is a genuine gem. It kept me in awe with each new chapter.

From the middle to the end there’s plenty of action packed scenes. Harriet is determined to save a friend of Will’s whether he helps her or not.

Here’s to Harriet and Will for rescuing the good and catching the bad guys.

I definitely enjoyed reading the talks between Will and Harriet. Cute nickname Will has for Harriet.

All For A Dead Man’s Leg is amazing romantic comedy with well written action scenes mixed in. Well written characters and storyline that well thought out. It’s hard to find great humor novels, Ms. Siracusa sure knew how to work into A+ charming tale. I definitely recommend this top choice of the week! I don’t know how much more I can say but that I love All for a Dead Man’s Leg.
I give All For a Dead Man’s Leg a rating of 5 Stars!

Book Description:

Rumors and Gossip . . . The lifeblood of London

When Olivia Bevelstoke is told that her new neighbor may have killed his fiancée, she doesn't believe it for a second, but, still, how can she help spying on him, just to be sure? So she stakes out a spot near her bedroom window, cleverly concealed by curtains, watches, and waits . . . and discovers a most intriguing man, who is definitely up to something.

Sir Harry Valentine works for the boring branch of the War Office, translating documents vital to national security. He's not a spy, but he's had all the training, and when a gorgeous blonde begins to watch him from her window, he is instantly suspicious. But just when he decides that she's nothing more than an annoyingly nosy debutante, he discovers that she might be engaged to a foreign prince, who might be plotting against England. And when Harry is roped into spying on Olivia, he discovers that he might be falling for her himself . . .

Book Review:

Lady Olivia was just minding her business, but her friends just had to fill her head with a certain gossip about her new neighbor, Sir Harry Valentine. Of course, Olivia couldn’t believe that nonsense. Of course its up to her to prove her friends wrong. Sir Harry doesn’t seem like that type to harm a lady. So who could blame her for secretly ‘spying’ on her neighbor.

Sir Harry Valentine didn’t have an easy life growing up. As soon as he could, Harry left all his family troubles behind. An unexpected choice changed the course of his life. His life was never the same, but he wouldn’t trade his life for anything. He learns a certain Prince is coming to London to visit a family member. His plan is to stop all treason that the Prince. What he didn’t count on was fate stepping in with a certain beautiful next door neighbor spying on him.
Lady Olivia is currently bored listening to her friends gossip when the topic of her neighbor comes up. She doesn’t believe anything they say. But they manage to put doubts in her mind. Well she decided to put end to that rumor by observing her neighbor. Since Olivia has plenty time on her hands she continues to watch Sir Harry Valentine. Harry starts to do things that piques her interests. But unlike a real great spy, Olivia is caught snooping by Harry. She hopes he really didn’t see her but an amused Harry introduces himself to his flustered neighbor.

But no matter what happens between Harry and Olivia, he must put all his attention to what he really brought him to London. Harry must put all his energy to discover what the Prince is really up to.

The Prince finds himself interested in the lovely Lady Olivia. Harry decided to court Olivia in his own way while using her to get to the Prince.

Julia Quinn, a bestselling historic romance author continues to work her magic with her latest novel, “What Happens In London.”

In What Happens In London introduces one kind hero/heroine, Harry and Olivia. Harry and Olivia are two characters that you don’t know if you want them to kiss each silly or just want to smack their heads for being so stubborn.

Olivia is looking someone special. She never thought he would show up as her mysterious next door neighbor. Now she wishes him to go away but Harry has other plans for her.

Harry manages to push all of Olivia’s buttons. He loves to see her all flushed and flustered. Every time he meets up with Olivia, Harry finds himself falling more and more for her.

In the back story, the Prince isn’t what Harry and his cousin Sebastian seem to be. And when things finally heat up between Olivia and Harry, she disappears. Harry teams up with Sebastian and the Prince to rescue his damsel. Throughout the whole book, Harry and Olivia keep up with their banter and slowly fall in love with each other.

And who can forget about the secondary characters like Olivia’s twin brother Winston, Harry’s cousin Sebastian and of course the Prince.

What Happens In London is what historical romances should be. The main characters slowly fall in love after all the banter and working through their kinks. I enjoyed Harry’s seduction of Olivia. Not to mention how adorable and creative new way Harry proposes marriage to Olivia.
Julia Quinn sure knows how to manage heat up the pages with Harry and Olivia romantic scenes.

Which ever the wind blows way, What Happens In London will fly into many readers hearts.

I give What Happens In London a rating of 5 Stars!
