Book Description:

Solon has admired Darina from afar for almost a year, smiling politely from behind the security desk when he wants to do much more.
He watches her struggle to maintain her composure when the boss’ daughter steals her fiancé, Marc.
With Darina doubting her ability to be loved, and Sol doubting his worth as a viable partner, the odds are stacked against them having more than just hot sex between them, despite their spontaneous and smoking-hot tryst in her office.
When Marc decides he wants another taste of Darina, Sol realizes he will fight anyone to keep her…even Darina herself.

Book Review:

Solon has been in love with Darina for a long time. He never considers himself good enough for her. She is way out of his league but that does not stop him from dreaming about her.
Just when he thinks there is no chance in hell, Sol can win her over, fate steps in. Sol notices Darina trying to avoid her ex by hiding.

Darina has had it tough ever since her ex cheated on her with her boss’s daughter. No everyone knows that he dumped to move on to better venues. What she does not know that there is someone out there who can make all her fantasies come true. In addition, maybe help her find the love she has always wanted?

Darina meets Sol in one of those moments when she is trying to hide from her ex noticing her. While searching for Darina, Sol sees what is going on and heads up to check on her. Then things get even more exciting and start heating up the pages.

Missy Jane, the author that brought to life, They Call Me Death brings readers her newest sensual tale of romance.

In Resignation, we are introduced to main characters, Darina and Sol.

Darina is currently heartbroken and humiliated after being dumped by her cheating ex, Marc. She has no clue how much more can she take seeing Marc with the boss’s daughter, Heather.

By chance, Sol is there for her and just like that, he manages to seduce her with his touch.
Sol tries to play it cool so he does not scare Darina away with his true intentions. There is nothing he would not do for Darina, Sol hopes that maybe she will feel something for him too.

Now if only he can convince Darina that what start out as just sex can be something worth fighting for.

There's more. Oh yes, there's plenty more. Marc isn't going to let someone like Sol just take away 'his woman.'

There are many sexy love scenes between Sol and Darina, which can be annoying in some books. However, Missy Jane has a way of keeping the sex scenes original and breathtaking that will keep plenty of readers begging for more.

I can only imagine just how sexy and exciting her next novel will be. I hope Missy Jane will not make us wait too long until her next book comes out.

I give Resignation a rating of 5 Stars.

About The Author:

About five years ago I read a fabulous book by Mercedes Lackey and James Mallory titled The Outstretched Shadow.
I fell in love with the characters in that book and when it ended I wanted to cry. I've always had a vivid imagination, but that book seemed to break loose something within me I hadn't realized needed freedom and before I could stop myself...
I began to write.
Ms. Missy Jane is the alter ego of a Texas mother of four who has been married to the same wonderful man for thirteen years. About five years ago Missy finished reading a book by Mercedes Lackey and thought "Now, what if..." and a monster was created.
Missy now spends most of her time lost in worlds of her own making
alternately loving and hating such creatures as vampires, shape-shifters and gargoyles (to name a few). When not writing, she spends her time reading, taking photos of her beautiful daughters and training her husband to believe she's always right.

Humans are no longer at the top of the food chain…
My name is Alexia Williams. In my world, North America is divided between north and south—but not the way it’s taught in the history books.

After losing my family to the shifters, I joined the Combined Human States Army. Now I find myself on the front lines, defending the wall between my species and theirs. My mission is simple: keep the animals on their side by whatever means necessary—and I’m good at it. I don’t talk to them. I don’t sympathize with them. I sure as hell don’t admire them…until one saves my life.

Andor isn’t like any shifter I’ve ever met. He’s a three-hundred-year-old golden eagle asking for help finding missing shifters who may be in my lands. I just have to decide between helping the animals or ignoring signs that my fellow humans aren’t what I thought they were. But how can I help a species I hate and fear? Even if Andor makes me feel alive again?
In the land of the shifters…they call me Death.
